Reiki

A technique involving a trained practitioner who places their hands on, or above a patient with the intent to guide a flow of energy into the patient. Depending upon beliefs, the goal of the procedure can include energetic healing, SPIRITUAL HEALING, or both forms of healing. While Reiki sessions may be offered on a massage table, it is distinct from MASSAGE THERAPY, which involves the physical manipulation of muscles and tissues.
