Fetal Macrosomia

A condition of fetal overgrowth defined as BIRTH WEIGHT greater than 4,000 grams, regardless of gestational age. It is commonly seen in GESTATIONAL DIABETES; PROLONGED PREGNANCY; and pregnancies complicated by pre-existing diabetes mellitus.
